Food testing services

A food testing lab ensures that a food product is free of physical, chemical, and biological hazards or contaminants such as metals, additives, pesticides, preservatives, cleaning agents, salmonella, e-coli bacteria, and so on. Before they are made available for public consumption, we conduct scientific analyses of various food products and their components in our lab.

The labs also provide information about the structure, composition, and physicochemical properties of the food as part of their food testing services.

What Procedures do we follow?

Several methods can be used to test food products and determine accurate information about their safety and nutritional value. Some of the common procedures that we follow are as follows:

Nutrition Analysis

This test is used to determine the nutritional composition of a food product and to cross-reference it with the product’s label.

Chemical Analysis

The food components are chemically separated and individually analyzed for pH, additives, colors, preservatives, contaminants, and so on.

Microbiological Analysis

This test detects microorganisms in food that may contaminate it. Microbiology testing is performed on raw materials, ingredients, and the finished product.

Self Life Analysis

It is a basic testing procedure in which the food is tested for sight, smell, touch, taste, sound, and shelf life.
